The parents of Courtney Clenney, an OnlyFans model accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death at their Miami apartment, were arrested Tuesday in Austin, Texas in connection to the murder case. Kim and Deborah Clenney were arrested on suspicion of unauthorized access to a computer, which is a third-degree felony in the state of Florida, according to an arrest warrant obtained by NBC News.
The laptop, belonging to Christian Obumseli, Clenney's boyfriend, was left in the apartment they shared. Clenney's parents and one of their lawyers, Frank Prieto, allegedly engaged in a group chat conversation discussing Obumseli's possible passwords and transfer of the laptop from their possession, according to the NBC article.
Travis County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the Clenneys were arrested on Jan. 30 on out-of-state felony charges, but declined to comment further.
"We assisted in executing an out-of-state warrant and have no involvement in the case," a spokesman said.
USA TODAY also reached out to Clenney's attorney for comment, but have not heard back at the time of publication.

Obumseli's laptop was left in the apartment he shared with Clenney, warrant claims
According to warrants obtained by NBC South Florida, many of Obumseli's belongings were taken from the condo after his death.
Authorities investigating Obumseli's death requested access to Clenney's cellphone, her iCloud account and the iCloud accounts of her parents, the NBC article said.
A group chat with the Clenneys allegedly discussed Obumseli's laptop and attempts to enter it through guessed passwords, the article said.
Clenney's arrest in Hawaii
Clenney was arrested in Hawaii on Aug. 6, 2022, and was charged in the April death of her boyfriend; investigators have said Clenney admitted to stabbing Obumseli.
Clenney, 26 at the time of her arrest, who went by Courtney Tailor on social media, was charged with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon, according to Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle.
The Hawaii County Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service located Clenney after a Miami-Dade County Police Department issued a warrant for her arrest.
Miami Police officers responded to a "domestic violence incident involving a stabbing" the night of April 3, according to an arrest warrant obtained by USA TODAY. Officers arrived and found a man, later identified as Obumseli, suffering from a knife wound, with Clenney "cradling" him. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died, authorities said.
The county medical examiner said in an autopsy report that Obumseli, who worked in cryptocurrency, died from a forceful downward thrust from a blade that went three inches into his chest, piercing a major artery.
